When someone says “I never got that email”, you don’t have to guess. Every person’s record keeps a history of the mailings they’ve been sent, and this guide shows you where to find it.
Checking someone’s mail history
-
Find the person. The quickest way is the search at the top of the web office; start typing their name and click them in the results. You can also open them from the Members tab of their group.
-
On their record, open the Mail tab. You’ll see the saved mailings this person has been sent, including automatic system emails such as the welcome email and rota reminders.
-
Click a mailing’s subject to read exactly what they were sent.
Good to know
-
You’ll only see the mailings you have permission to see: ones you sent yourself, or ones saved to a group folder where you hold the mailing permission.
-
System emails (the automatic ones your site sends) are only visible to people with the Site Administrator permission.
-
