Got news worth shouting about? Any article can be featured on your website’s front page, so visitors see it the moment they arrive rather than having to dig for it.
Featuring an article
-
Log in to your web office, select the group that holds the article, open the Documents tab and click the article’s title.
-
Open the Properties tab.
-
Tick ‘Feature this article on the web site front page’.
-
Click ‘Save’, then check your homepage to see it in place.
Good to know
-
Featured articles only show if your homepage design includes a latest articles area. If you’ve ticked the box and nothing appears, raise a support ticket and we’ll check your homepage with you.
-
Featured articles list newest publish date first, so nudge the date forward to move one to the front.
-
Check the article’s publish and removal dates: an expired article won’t appear however firmly the box is ticked.
-
A striking summary image earns its keep here, since most homepage designs show it alongside the title.
