Sermons page or sermon series: which should you use?

Hubb gives you two ways to present your sermons, and it’s worth choosing before you start uploading. Both draw from the same recordings, so you’re choosing how they’re displayed, not re-doing any work.

The two options

1. The Sermons page is a system page that lists every published recording by date, with the option to listen, watch or download each file, plus search options at the top right. It’s the same for every Hubb site (only colours and fonts follow your template), it updates the moment you save a recording, and it’s perfect when uploading needs to be as quick as possible.
2. The Sermon series page is the more visual option: a banner image, a search box, the most recent sermons, and your sermons grouped into series, each with its own image. It takes a little more effort because each series wants an image, but it shows off your teaching beautifully.
3. Decide which suits your church. The honest trade-off: the sermons page is zero-maintenance; the series view rewards a bit of care with a far richer page.
4. Whichever you choose, hide the other so both don’t appear in your menus: find the group you’re not using, open Group Settings, click ‘Tasks’ and choose the move option, then move it to the ‘Not in Use’ group at the bottom of the group tree. It disappears from the menus but is there if you change your mind.

• The series page ends with an archive button that takes people to the date-ordered list, so nothing is ever unreachable.
