How do I add an icon (Favicon) to display in the browser address bar?
The
favicon
(short for favorites icon), also known as a website icon is an icon associated with a particular website. The favicon will appear next the the left of the url in the browsers address bar and within the browsers bookmark listing.
You can add a favicon to your site as follows:
Create an icon file (16 pixels square) from your site's logo.
Login to the
Web Office.
Select the
Settings
tab on the bottom of the navigation toolbar on the left hand side.
Scroll down on the
Site Profile
page until you get to the section entitled 'I
mages
'.
Under the
Favicon
section upload your graphic.
